How we began

Calvary Chapel Thornton will begin as a house church in Thornton led by Joey and Alexis Ramirez and Brandon and Aprile Miller hosted in the Miller’s house. By God’s grace He has brought His people together to plant and grow His church. Our primary function and purpose is to serve people both in our community and abroad by bringing people closer to Jesus. Whether we are introducing them to Jesus for the first time, or helping them grow in knowing Him, we are passionate about seeing people grow in a living and vibrant relationship with Jesus. .

Who we are

At Calvary Chapel Thornton we believe that relationship with Jesus is established, maintained and developed through the word of God, the Bible. We purposefully give our attention to Jesus by studying His word through expository preaching and teaching, which is typically a verse-by-verse study through entire books of the Bible. This focus is maintained on Sunday morning gatherings, through mid-week gatherings, and within our ministry efforts. Church is more than a place you go to, it is a people you are a part of, and our desire is to help people become more a part of the family of God here at Calvary Chapel Thornton and through our ministry efforts..

We believe that we do the planting and God does the growing. We encourage you to join us in learning about God’s word says about living our lives in community.
